Thanks to their fle\u00adxi\u00adble auto\u00adma\u00adtion opti\u00adons, the machi\u00adnes run with mini\u00admal ope\u00adra\u00adtor inter\u00adven\u00adti\u00adons. By using these, the mil\u00adling pro\u00adcess of the main- and pin bea\u00adrings runs with a radial cut\u00adting depth of up to 0,5mm at hard\u00adness of up to 59 HRC. The cut\u00adting speeds applied are bet\u00adween 250 and 275m\/min and the feed rates are set bet\u00adween 0,23 \u2013 0,35mm. Those spe\u00adci\u00adfic, power-ope\u00adra\u00adted lever chucks with a dia\u00adme\u00adter of 320mm, have a sen\u00adsi\u00adtive adjus\u00adt\u00adment of less or equal 20\u00b5m on the clam\u00adping dia\u00adme\u00adter and con\u00adse\u00adquently allow a highly effi\u00adci\u00adent com\u00adpen\u00adsa\u00adtion of dis\u00adtor\u00adtion due to the har\u00addening. &nbsp;For addi\u00adtio\u00adnal back\u00ading, we use two self-cen\u00adte\u00adring mil\u00adling ste\u00adady rests with pin loca\u00adtor&nbsp;jaws.<\/p>\n<p>On top of that, the machine has an inte\u00adgra\u00adted touch probe for exact and pro\u00adcess relia\u00adble iden\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion of the work\u00adpiece position.<\/p>\n<p>With that, dia\u00adme\u00adter-accu\u00adra\u00adcies of 25\u00b5m, round\u00adness-accu\u00adra\u00adcies of 10\u00b5m and posi\u00adtion-accu\u00adra\u00adcies of the pin bea\u00adrings of 0,1mm are accom\u00adplished. This soft\u00adware allows for com\u00adple\u00adtely inde\u00adpen\u00addent pro\u00adgramming for machi\u00adning of main- and pin bea\u00adrings, cen\u00adtric ele\u00adments, cheeks and spe\u00adci\u00adfic cheek con\u00adtours. The ope\u00adra\u00adtor can easily imple\u00adment neces\u00adsary cor\u00adrec\u00adtions by use of cor\u00adre\u00adspon\u00adding input fields and is extre\u00admely ope\u00adra\u00adtor fri\u00adendly. The ope\u00adra\u00adtor can also import form cor\u00adrec\u00adtion tables directly from the mea\u00adsu\u00adring machine and by doing so the pro\u00adgramming is easy and quickly completed.<\/p>\n<p>The pro\u00adcess runs enti\u00adrely dry, wit\u00adhout any pro\u00adcess fluids and is the\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfore much more sus\u00adtainable than grin\u00adding pro\u00adces\u00adses, which had to be used up until now. Con\u00adse\u00adquently, the main\u00adten\u00adance requi\u00adre\u00adments and manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adring run\u00adning costs decrease significantly.<\/p>\n<p>With the use of the new hard mil\u00adling tech\u00adno\u00adlogy, the finish grin\u00adding requi\u00adre\u00adments for machi\u00adning of large cranks\u00adhafts can typi\u00adcally decrease by up to 75 per\u00adcent.
