In coope\u00adra\u00adtion with CCE Deutsch\u00adland, a new pho\u00adto\u00advol\u00adtaic sys\u00adtem has been instal\u00adled on the roofs of our pro\u00adduc\u00adtion halls in recent weeks, enab\u00adling us to cover a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant pro\u00adpor\u00adtion of our elec\u00adtri\u00adcity requi\u00adre\u00adments ourselves.<\/p>\n

Together for sustainable energy generation<\/h4>\n

We will be pro\u00addu\u00adcing our own elec\u00adtri\u00adcity at our site in Chem\u00adnitz from 2025. A new pho\u00adto\u00advol\u00adtaic sys\u00adtem has been instal\u00adled on the roofs of the NILES-SIMMONS pro\u00adduc\u00adtion and assem\u00adbly halls in col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtion with CCE Ger\u00admany. With a size of 650KWp, we are able to gene\u00adrate up to 625,000kWh of elec\u00adtri\u00adcity per year and use 80\u201390% of it here at the NILES-SIMMONS site.<\/p>\n

This for\u00adward-loo\u00adking pro\u00adject is a fur\u00adther step in our com\u00admit\u00adment to sus\u00adtaina\u00adbi\u00adlity and rene\u00adwa\u00adble ener\u00adgies. The pho\u00adto\u00advol\u00adtaic sys\u00adtem is expec\u00adted to save around 295 tons of CO\u2082 emis\u00adsi\u00adons annu\u00adally. This not only enables us to make an important con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion to cli\u00admate pro\u00adtec\u00adtion, but also to reduce our energy costs and increase our inde\u00adpen\u00addence from fos\u00adsil fuels.<\/p>\n

Our col\u00adla\u00adbo\u00adra\u00adtion with CCE Deutsch\u00adland, an expert in rene\u00adwa\u00adble ener\u00adgies, enables us to use the latest tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies while bene\u00adfiting from their exten\u00adsive expe\u00adri\u00adence. Tog\u00ade\u00adther, we are set\u00adting an exam\u00adple for envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally con\u00adscious action in indus\u00adtry and show\u00ading that eco\u00adno\u00admic suc\u00adcess and sus\u00adtaina\u00adbi\u00adlity can go hand in hand.<\/p>\n

This pro\u00adject is not only a mile\u00adstone for the NSH Group, but also an important step for the Chem\u00adnitz region, which is incre\u00adasingly estab\u00adli\u00adshing its\u00adelf as a pio\u00adneer in rene\u00adwa\u00adble ener\u00adgies.
