EUROPEAN PEACE RIDE 2023: the NSH Group is part of it!
NSH participates as sponsor and active member in the EUROPEAN PEACE RIDE 2023
On September 08, the European Peace Ride will start for the third time. The NSH Group is participating for the first time as a sponsor of the former Peace Ride and will also send a rider from the Chemnitz headquarters of the NSH Group into the race. In addition to numerous riders from Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria, Tour de France stage winners André Greipel and Marcus Burghardt will take part in the European Peace Ride.
The starting signal will be given by Minister President Michael Kretschmer and Chemnitz Mayor Sven Schulze at 11:00 a.m. in Görlitz. Afterwards the riders will ride in 3 stages over 500 kilometers and 6,000 meters of altitude across the Giant and Ore Mountains through Poland and the Czech Republic to Chemnitz.
From the edge of the Chemnitz stand, everyone has the opportunity on 10.09. to actively join the peloton at a moderate pace. Thus, a sporting sign is to be set for a fair and peaceful coexistence, but also to further expand the entire region bicycle-friendly. The goal after the three stages is the theater place of the culture capital Chemnitz. From 15:30 to 17:00 over 10 different sports meet on this day including the cyclists of the European Peace Ride.
The aim is a big family and sports event, i.e. regional and Chemnitz clubs are invited to SPORTS UNITED and the EUROPEAN PEACE RIDE to make this day a unique community experience. To inspire children and young people for different sports/clubs and to promote Chemnitz, as an attractive location with priceless value are clearly the focus of the entire event.
