The Heavy Duty seg­ment encom­pas­ses work­pie­ces that, due to their dimen­si­ons, weight, and mate­ri­als, place the hig­hest demands on manu­fac­tu­ring and often must with­stand extreme loads. These include com­pon­ents with lengths of up to 9.5 meters, work­piece weights of up to 15 metric tons, and swi­vel dia­me­ters of up to 1.5 meters.

The spec­trum ran­ges from tubu­lar com­pon­ents to large cranks­hafts and axle assem­blies to con­veyor rollers—to name just a few examples.

Machi­ning these work­pie­ces requi­res maxi­mum sta­bi­lity of the machi­nes and manu­fac­tu­ring tech­no­logy, as well as high-per­for­mance solu­ti­ons for part hand­ling, auto­ma­tion, tech­no­logy, and pro­cess reliability.

As a tech­no­logy pro­vi­der, we not only uti­lize estab­lished manu­fac­tu­ring tech­no­lo­gies at the hig­hest level but also deve­lop and imple­ment cus­to­mer-spe­ci­fic machi­ning stra­te­gies for the most deman­ding appli­ca­ti­ons. These include, among others, 5‑axis machi­ning, gear cut­ting, power ski­ving, com­plex inter­nal machi­ning, and the rol­ling of highly stres­sed radii and surfaces.
