Behind the scenes

Curtain up for a little sneak peek behind the sce­nes of our latest film pro­ject at the pre­mi­ses of our brand NILES-SIMMONS in Chem­nitz. Tog­e­ther with our film part­ner Video­Vi­sion we cap­tu­red the high­lights of our new ver­ti­cal tur­ning cen­ter DZS-400, which was deve­lo­ped in coope­ra­tion with the brand RASOMA. The machine, based on the exis­ting DZS-series, was exten­si­vely re-engi­nee­red and adapted to spe­ci­fic cus­to­mer needs.

We also refer to this machine as the »Sta­tor­ma­ker« because, in addi­tion to pro­ces­sing cup-shaped and tubu­lar, thin-wal­led work­pie­ces, it spe­ci­fi­cally hand­les all known types of sta­tor housings for the e‑mobility sector.

– 8x fas­ter simul­ta­neous inter­nal-exter­nal machi­ning com­pared to con­ven­tio­nal tur­ning processes
– Paten­ted process
– Signi­fi­cant cos­t­re­duc­tion com­pared to con­ven­tio­nal processes
– Com­plete machi­ning in 2 clam­ping operations
– Simul­ta­neous machi­ning of 2 workpieces
– Low space requirement
