CORONA VIRUS: PREVENTIVE MEASURES AT NILES-SIMMONS

 

Dear cus­to­mers and busi­ness partners,

Health and safety of our employees and their fami­lies, as well as all our cus­to­mers, sup­pli­ers, busi­ness part­ners and visi­tors, is a top prio­rity for NILES-SIMMONS.
In order to pre­vent pos­si­ble infec­tion and to keep the risks low for all invol­ved, NILES-SIMMONS has imple­men­ted exten­sive pre­ven­tion and safety measures.

The fol­lo­wing mea­su­res apply to all employees, sup­pli­ers and other visi­tors to our com­pany until fur­ther notice:

 

Hygiene:

  • Dis­in­fec­tion dis­pen­sers are available at all junc­tions for regu­lar hand dis­in­fec­tion as well as ins­truc­tions for regu­lar and cor­rect hand hygiene. Before ente­ring the work and can­teen areas, ever­yone is espe­ci­ally encou­ra­ged to use these facilities.
  • Visi­tor areas are regu­larly disinfected.
  • Gree­tings are made wit­hout handshake.
  • For the use of our in-house can­teen, the usual 1.5m distance regu­la­ti­ons, wea­ring a sur­gi­cal mask and sha­ring of tables wit­hout a medi­cal mouth­guard as dis­play (in accordance with the valid occu­pa­tio­nal health and safety regu­la­tion of 17.03.2022) apply.

 

Pre­ven­tion:

  • Wea­ring a medi­cal mouth­guard is man­da­tory in clo­sed rooms and hallways.
  • Main com­mu­ni­ca­tion takes place via tele­phone, e‑mail traf­fic and video conferencing.
  • Any employee or visi­tor exhi­bi­ting sym­ptoms of ill­ness such as fever, cough or respi­ra­tory sym­ptoms is asked not to visit the com­pany and to cont­act aut­ho­ri­ties or family physician.

 

Distance:

  • If the room size is less than the requi­red 10 square meters per employee, they will work from home alter­na­tely. Where this is not pos­si­ble, a medi­cal sur­gi­cal mask is worn.
  • Where pos­si­ble, mee­tings are held in small groups or via vir­tual chan­nels to ensure the neces­sary distance.

 

All mea­su­res taken serve to pro­tect our employees and all part­ners and visi­tors who enter our company’s premises.

In order to increase their effec­ti­ve­ness, we ask all employees and exter­nal busi­ness part­ners to imple­ment the mea­su­res sen­si­tively and, if neces­sary, to heed fur­ther noti­ces on the company’s premises.

In addi­tion, we would like to state once again that our com­pany pro­du­ces and main­ta­ins ope­ra­ti­ons in com­pli­ance with the afo­re­men­tio­ned mea­su­res. Accor­din­gly, all deli­veries and orders will be accepted as scheduled.

We will update this infor­ma­tion on a regu­lar basis depen­ding on offi­cial regulations.
