Review: 17th International Rail Vehicle Conference in Dresden.

The 17th Inter­na­tio­nal Rail Vehicle Con­fe­rence in Dres­den was atten­ded by about 570 par­ti­ci­pants from 12 count­ries. In 4 ple­nary lec­tures and 48 pre­sen­ta­ti­ons in the con­fe­rence sec­tions »Wheel/Rail«, »Pro­ject Plan­ning, Cal­cu­la­tion and Design of Rail Vehic­les« and »Manu­fac­tu­ring, Main­ten­ance and Cost Assess­ment of Rail Vehic­les« were pre­sen­ted cur­rent fin­dings and were dis­cus­sed it with the con­fe­rence participants.

The con­fe­rence was con­duc­ted by our HEGENSCHEIDT col­le­agues from Erkel­enz, who pro­vi­ded infor­ma­tion on the sub­ject of »Deep rol­ling and roll straigh­tening of wheel treads of rail vehic­les« in the con­text of the pos­ter exhi­bi­tion.
