Review: 17th International Rail Vehicle Conference in Dresden.

The 17th Inter­na­tio­nal Rail Vehi­cle Con­fe­rence in Dres­den was atten­ded by about 570 par­ti­ci­pants from 12 coun­tries. In 4 ple­nary lec­tures and 48 pre­sen­ta­ti­ons in the con­fe­rence sec­tions »Wheel/Rail«, »Pro­ject Plan­ning, Cal­cu­la­tion and Design of Rail Vehi­cles« and »Manu­fac­tu­ring, Main­ten­ance and Cost Assess­ment of Rail Vehi­cles« were pre­sen­ted cur­rent fin­dings and were dis­cus­sed it with the con­fe­rence par­ti­ci­pants.

The con­fe­rence was con­duc­ted by our HEGENSCHEIDT col­leagues from Erkel­enz, who pro­vi­ded infor­ma­tion on the sub­ject of »Deep rol­ling and roll strai­gh­tening of wheel treads of rail vehi­cles« in the con­text of the pos­ter exhi­bi­tion.
